Cambodia enjoyed a double-digit growth of exports to the European Union (EU) and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) in the first 10 months of 2025, said a Ministry of Commerce report on Tuesday.
The report showed that the Southeast Asian country exported products worth 4.21 billion U.S. dollars to the EU market during the January-October period this year, up 17.3 percent year on year.
Meanwhile, the kingdom shipped goods worth 4.8 billion dollars to its fellow ASEAN member states, a year-on-year rise of 16 percent, according to the report.
The EU market accounted for 16.2 percent and the ASEAN market represented 18.5 percent of the kingdom's total export volume of 25.9 billion dollars in the first 10 months this year, it said.
"Main goods Cambodia exported to EU were apparel, textiles, shoes, travel goods, bags, bicycles, car tires, and some electronic devices, as well as potential agricultural produce such as milled rice, cashew nuts, casava starch, and bananas," Ministry of Commerce's Secretary of State and Spokesperson Penn Sovicheat told Xinhua.
He added that major products Cambodia exported to ASEAN also included garments, shoes, travel goods, bags, car tires, electronics and agricultural commodities, among others.
