招聘概览

The Hamacher group at Technische Universität Darmstadt invites applications for the position of a

Research Assistant (Ph.D. Student) (all genders) – 50%
at first term of 3 years.
The research group focus on computational methods in the natural sciences, especially mathematical and algorithmic aspects.
Research topics include but are not limited to:
* machine learning
* statistical physics
* heuristic optimization, genetic and evolutionary programming

The scope and field of the Ph.D. research is to be discussed, but the Ph.D. program can be chosen from the departments of physics, computer science, or biology.

Opportunity for further qualification (doctoral dissertation) is gi- ven. The fulfillment of the duties likewise enables the scientific
qualifications of the candidate.

Ideally, you have a completed university degree (Master, Diploma) with a background in one or more of relevant areas (physics, computer science, bioinformatics, mathematics).


The Technische Universität Darmstadt intends to increase the number of female employees and encourages female candidates to apply. In case of equal qualifications applicants with a degree of disability of at least 50 or equal will be given preference. 

Wages and salaries are according to the collective agreements on salary scales, which apply to the
Technische Universität Darmstadt (TV-TU Darmstadt).
