学校与项目介绍
香港科技大学ECE系博士项目，时长月4年。每月正常补助18000港币。
We welcome students with both CS and EE backgrounds, especially students with strong algorithm & programming backgrounds.
Our research topics are highly cross-disciplinary. You will master deep knowledge of programming, data structure and algorithm, machine learning, EDA, VLSI design, etc. after you graduate. I believe many of these directions are in very high demand in the job market nowadays.
Our lab has a small number of students with enough research resources. Therefore, you can get hands-on supervision from the advisor during your Ph.D. study. This could be very helpful when starting your research.
1. University: world top 500 for Bachelor-degree or Master-degree university
2. Grade: grade > 85/100 or rank top 25% (unnecessary for top university)
3. Research experience (ideally with publications/drafts in submission)
4. Programming skill (Python is enough, C/C++ experience is a plus)
5. Expertise in any CS/EE direction (ML, data analysis, algorithm, optimization, IC, EDA, computer arch, math, etc.). Ideally I hope you can teach me something in your direction. Currently we have a special need for programming experts.
